Mazda CX-90 Recalls Read straight from the federal database, not from a stored copy

Every open NHTSA recall for the CX-90, model years 2024–2027, is pulled live from the federal database below and repaired free of charge at any Mazda dealer. Check your VIN for the answer that covers your exact vehicle, or scroll for the current list.

Check One CX-90

A recall applies to a build range, not to a nameplate, so two CX-90s of the same model year can carry different campaigns. Enter the 17-character VIN — from the lower-left windshield, the driver’s door jamb or the registration — and we query NHTSA for that vehicle in real time.

How A Mazda CX-90 Recall Works

Three things worth knowing before you read the list.

What It Is
A defect the manufacturer or NHTSA identified

A safety recall means a defect or a noncompliance with a federal safety standard has been found in a defined population of vehicles. Which CX-90s fall inside that population depends on build date, plant and equipment — which is why a VIN answers a question a model-year list cannot.

Why It Is Live
Nothing on this page is a stored summary

Campaigns open, get amended and get superseded. A page that keeps its own copy of the list is wrong the day one changes, and a reader has no way to tell. So this one holds nothing: the list below is read from NHTSA at the moment you load it, and the wording in each card is the federal record’s own.

What It Costs
Nothing — parts and labor, by federal law

A safety recall remedy is performed at no charge to the owner, for the life of the vehicle, whatever the mileage and wherever the vehicle was bought. There is no deductible and nothing to negotiate. Bring it to Dean McCrary Mazda and we will book the repair and confirm the parts before you come in.

Every CX-90 Campaign NHTSA Returns Right Now

Queried against the federal database as this page loads, most recent first, for model years 2024–2027. Each card carries the campaign number so you can look it up at nhtsa.gov yourself.

If the list comes back empty, that is what the federal database returned for the CX-90 nameplate at this moment — it is not a finding about any individual vehicle, and it is not a promise about the future. Campaigns are opened without warning. Run the VIN above, and run it again from time to time.

The Federal Text Behind Each System

The list above is the federal record as it stands this minute. These pages carry the wording underneath it — the defect, the risk and the remedy in NHTSA’s own words, reproduced without edit — grouped by the system a campaign affects. Read them for the full notice; read the live list above for what is open today.

A system with no page here is one NHTSA has filed nothing under for the CX-90, or one whose campaigns NHTSA filed under a model string that does not separate this nameplate from another. Either way the live list above is the complete answer and these pages are the detail behind part of it.

Mazda CX-90 Recall Questions

How do I find out whether a recall applies to my CX-90?

Run the VIN in the checker on this page, or at nhtsa.gov/recalls. Both query the same federal record. The list further down this page covers the CX-90 nameplate across model years 2024–2027; only a VIN resolves a single vehicle.

What do “Do Not Drive” and “Park Outside” mean?

They are advisories NHTSA attaches to the most serious campaigns. Do Not Drive means stop driving the vehicle until the remedy is complete. Park Outside means keep it away from buildings and other vehicles, normally because of a fire risk. If either appears on your VIN check or in the list below, call us and we will move your repair to the front.

Does a recall expire if the vehicle is old, or if I am not the first owner?

No. A safety recall stays open until the vehicle is repaired, regardless of age, mileage or how many owners it has had, and the remedy is performed at no charge to the owner. A vehicle bought secondhand carries the same entitlement as one bought new.

Why does this page not list a total?

Because any total we printed would be a number frozen on the day it was written. The count moves as campaigns open and as remedies are amended. The live list is the current federal record; a stored figure would only be a claim about the past dressed up as a fact about today.

I am buying a used CX-90. What should I check?

Run the VIN before you buy. An open campaign is not in itself a reason to walk away — any Mazda dealer will close it at no charge to you — but it is something to know about, and you want it in writing when it is done. We close open campaigns on used vehicles whether or not we sold them.

Open Campaign On Your CX-90? We Will Book It.

Do Not Drive and Park Outside advisories go to the front of the schedule. Every recall remedy is performed at no charge to the owner. Call or book online and we will confirm parts before your visit.
