The Severe Grid Moves to Six-Month Steps
Mazda prints this model year’s Schedule 2 columns as 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 54, 60, 66 and 72 months against the same 5,000 to 60,000 miles the model year before it uses. Every mileage stays put and every month figure changes, so the fixed engine oil row becomes every 5,000 miles or 6 months. Eight severe rows also gain marks with the change — drive belts, brake lines, disc brakes, steering, suspension, driveshaft dust boots and the chassis bolts among them.
Puerto Rico Moves onto Schedule 1
Both Schedule 1 tables are retitled U.S.A. and Puerto Rico residents on this model year, and Mazda’s routing sentence drops Puerto Rico: only Canada residents follow Schedule 2. The separate Puerto-Rico-scoped air filter row the model year before it prints inside Schedule 2 collapses into one sentence with it.

Every 5,000 Miles or 6 Months
Engine oil and filter on the fixed basis, engine coolant level, brake and clutch fluid level, tire inflation pressure and tire wear, function of all lights, all locks and hinges lubricated, and washer fluid level. The flexible alternative on this table carries the same 12 month or 16,000 km (10,000 mile) ceiling the normal table does.
Every 10,000 Miles or 12 Months

Fuel lines and hoses, brake lines, hoses and connections, steering operation and linkages, front and rear suspension with ball joints and wheel bearing axial play, driveshaft dust boots, and the bolts and nuts on the chassis and body, which are tightened rather than inspected.
The Longer Severe Rows
Every 30,000 miles or 36 months — drive belts. At 40,000 miles, once — hoses and tubes for emission. Every 45,000 miles or 5 years — exhaust system and heat shields, printed as a sentence. The air filter and the tire rotation are performed at the oil change with ceilings of 36 months or 37,500 miles and 8,000 km (5,000 miles). The cabin air filter is printed as replace every 40,000 km (25,000 miles), and the emergency flat tire repair kit is inspected annually.
