2026 Mazda CX-70 Trims, Specs & Colors
A turbocharged inline-six and i-ACTIV AWD® standard on every trim, in a two-row body built for five. This page covers the CX-70 lineup end to end — every trim, what changed this year, powertrain and efficiency, cabin and capability, cargo and towing, and the full color palette.
CX-70 Trims & MSRP
MSRP includes destination and delivery. Excludes tax, title, license, a $895 dealer documentary service fee and a $16.50 tag fee.
What’s New This Model Year
The CX-70 is the two-row half of a pair: same platform and same turbocharged inline-six as the three-row CX-90, in a body that trades the third row for cargo space. Five trims, two states of tune, all-wheel drive on every one. Dean McCrary Mazda stocks the lineup on the I-65 Service Road in Mobile.
Two Rows Where the CX-90 Has Three
The CX-70 seats five in two rows and puts the space a third row would occupy into the cargo area — 39.6 cu ft behind the rear seat. If you need seven or eight seats, the CX-90 is the same idea with a third row.
One Inline-Six, Two States of Tune
The 3.3 Turbo makes 280 hp on regular fuel and powers three trims; the 3.3 Turbo S makes up to 340 hp on recommended premium fuel and powers the two S trims. There is no four-cylinder in this lineup.
All-Wheel Drive on Every Trim
i-ACTIV AWD® is standard from the 3.3 Turbo Preferred through the 3.3 Turbo S Premium Plus. There is no front-wheel-drive CX-70 and no all-wheel-drive upcharge to add.
5,000 Lb of Towing, Every Trim
With the available towing package, every CX-70 trim tows up to 5,000 lb — the same ceiling as the larger three-row CX-90, in a shorter vehicle.
One Inline-Six, Two States of Tune
Every CX-70 drives all four wheels through the same 3.3-liter turbocharged inline-six architecture. What changes across the ladder is how hard that engine is tuned and what fuel it wants, so read the two engine cards with the trims they name.

Safety & Technology
Equipment below is listed with the trim it arrives on, because most of it is not standard across the ladder. Availability can change during a model year — confirm the equipment on a specific vehicle with our team before you buy.
i-ACTIV AWD® and the Towing Package
All-wheel drive is standard from the base trim, and the available towing package takes any CX-70 to 5,000 lb. Neither is reserved for a higher step on the ladder.
The Comfort Step
The Premium adds comfort and technology equipment on the 280-hp engine, without moving to the uprated tune.
The Full List on the Standard Engine
The Premium Plus carries the fuller comfort and materials list while keeping the 280-hp 3.3 Turbo, which is the trim to look at if equipment matters more to you than output.
Where the 340-HP Tune Starts
The first of the two S trims is where the engine steps up to 340 hp on recommended premium fuel and 369 lb-ft of torque.
The Flagship
The top of the ladder pairs the 340-hp tune with the complete comfort and technology list. Cargo, seating and towing are unchanged from the base trim — this step buys power and equipment.
Dimensions & Capability
A five-passenger, two-row midsize SUV on the same platform as the three-row CX-90. Every figure below is shared across all five trims.
Five Passengers, Two Rows
Two rows and five seats. The three-row CX-90 sits above it and the compact CX-5 below; the CX-70 Plug-In Hybrid is the same body with a different powertrain.
39.6 Cu Ft Behind the Rear Seat
39.6 cu ft with the rear seat upright and 75.3 cu ft with it folded — the space a third row would otherwise occupy.
5,000 Lb With the Towing Package
Up to 5,000 lb with the available towing package, the same maximum on every trim and the same ceiling as the larger three-row CX-90.
3-Yr/36,000 & 5-Yr/60,000
A 3-year/36,000-mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty and a 5-year/60,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty, standard on every new Mazda.
CX-70 Exterior Colors
Colors shown are the national palette Mazda publishes for this model year. Availability varies by trim and by what is on the ground — tap a color to see the matching CX-70 inventory, or ask our team what is in transit.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the CX-70 and the CX-90?⌄
The CX-70 is a two-row, five-passenger SUV; the CX-90 is Mazda’s three-row flagship. They share the same 3.3 Turbo and 3.3 Turbo S inline-six engines and the same 5,000-lb maximum tow rating; the third row and the seating count are what differ.
What is the difference between the 3.3 Turbo and the 3.3 Turbo S?⌄
The 3.3 Turbo makes 280 hp on regular fuel and powers the Preferred, Premium and Premium Plus. The 3.3 Turbo S makes up to 340 hp on recommended premium fuel, with 369 lb-ft of torque, and powers the two S trims.
Is all-wheel drive standard on every CX-70 trim?⌄
Yes. i-ACTIV AWD® is standard from the 3.3 Turbo Preferred through the 3.3 Turbo S Premium Plus — there is no front-wheel-drive CX-70.
How much can a CX-70 tow?⌄
Up to 5,000 lb with the available towing package, the same maximum rating across all five trims.
Why does this page not show a price for every CX-70 trim?⌄
Because we will not publish a figure we cannot confirm twice over. Mazda announced a mid-year increase across the CX-70 range, and the live product page still shows the launch figure with no per-trim breakdown to say whether the increase landed. Every trim therefore reads "MSRP available at the dealership" until it is signed off — ask us and we will quote the current figure on a specific vehicle.
Does Mazda sell a plug-in hybrid CX-70?⌄
Yes, as a separate model line with its own trims, figures and page — the CX-70 Plug-In Hybrid. None of its range or efficiency figures appear on this page.
What warranty coverage comes with a new CX-70?⌄
A 3-year/36,000-mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty and a 5-year/60,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty, standard on every new Mazda.
How far is Dean McCrary Mazda from Daphne, Pascagoula & Pensacola?⌄
We are on the I-65 Service Road in Mobile. Daphne is about 20 minutes east over the bay, Pascagoula about 40 minutes west in Mississippi, and Pensacola about an hour east in Florida. We serve the whole Gulf Coast.
